Transaero is to serve more than 200 routes in 2015 summer season
|In the 2015 summer season Transaero Airlines offers its clients the record in the airline’s history flight programme, which includes more than 200 domestic and international routes.
In the current market situation, Transaero’s summer flight programme provides for the most efficient combination of the flight geography with flight frequencies that will ensure the maximum efficiency of the airline’s operations during the high season.
The airline is to launch services on a number of routes. For the first time in its history, the airline will carry out scheduled flights from Moscow to Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Kyzylorda, Malta and Prague, and from St Petersburg to Magadan and Shanghai. The unique flight programme will be offered to Sochi from Moscow, St Petersburg, and 14 other Russian cities.
Transaero’s domestic route network will be boosted by nearly 30% in comparison with the summer season of 2014. The domestic route network will include more than 60 routes.
In the summer months, the airline will deploy Boeing 767-300 and Boeing 747-400 widebody aircraft on routes from Moscow to Mineralnye Vody, Simferopol and Sochi. The flight frequency will be up to three times per day on the routes from Mineralnye Vody and Simferopol, and up to four flights per day to Sochi.
Transaero will see the number of its routes served from Moscow Vnukovo airport increased in comparison with the summer 2014 season. About 65 routes will be served from Vnukovo airport. The airline will carry out flights on about 50 routes from Moscow Domodedovo airport. The flight programme from St Petersburg will account for 23 routes.
As in previous years, the airline will carry out a large programme of direct flights from Russia’s regions to the popular international leisure destinations. The programme will include more than 65 routes. For instance, the direct flights to Larnaca will be operated from 14 Russia’s cities, to Hurghada – from 14 cities, and to Antalya – from 12 cities.
Transaero Connect service, providing for access to high speed broadband Internet during flights, will be available on 32 aircraft, including Boeing 777-300, Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 737NG aircraft.
