Thomas Cook and Brussels Airlines expand their strategic cooperation. This year, both companies will operate even more holiday flights together (824 flights, +26%). Tens of thousands of Thomas Cook clients will also make use of Brussels Airlines’ scheduled flight offer to popular holiday destinations.

Brussels Airlines and Thomas Cook have been cooperating since 2002, but this year the partnership will have an even more strategic character. “Next to our own aircraft fleet, Thomas Cook will use Brussels Airlines more than ever to get travelers to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean”, says Jan Dekeyser, Chief Commercial Officer at Thomas Cook.

“Last year, Brussels Airlines already operated 654 flights for Thomas Cook; this year that amount will increase to 824. Next to these chartered flights, we have also decided to book seats for our clients on several scheduled Brussels Airlines flights. Thanks to this cooperation, Thomas Cook clients have a choice between more flight days, making their travel plans more flexible.”

Brussels Airlines will launch Ibiza this summer as an eleventh new destination in 2015, with the support of Thomas Cook.
