Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, celebrated the start of its new twice weekly summer service to Milan from Southampton Airport that operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This latest service boosts Flybe’s existing summer schedule from the key South Coast airport to 27 routes in total and that includes another brand new route that starts later this month, to Bastia on the island of Corsica.

Chief Commercial Officer at Flybe, Paul Simmons, said: „We’re excited to be celebrating our brand new service to Milan and we’re looking forward to welcoming our passengers onboard. It is a very appealing route and will give our passengers the opportunity to visit and explore one of Europe’s most fashionable and ‘must-see’ cities.”

Flybe offers a choice of up to 299 flights a week this summer from Southampton Airport.
