airBaltic announces new Riga – Pisa Route

The Latvian national airline airBaltic will launch a new route between Riga and Pisa, Central Italy, on 13 June 2015, adding yet another popular summer destination to airBaltic’s route map.

Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “Pisa’s Leaning Tower, historical heritage, and cultural wealth are known all over the world. We are please to be adding it to our route map, offernig Baltic Travellers the chance to spend their summer holidays in the heart of Tuscany, enjoying high culture, visit historical cities such as Florence and Siena, and, of course, take a taste of world famous Tuscan wines and food.”

airBaltic will fly from Riga to Pisa once a week and passengers will board a Boeing 737 aircraft for a flight that will last two hours 50 minutes.

In addition to several direct routes from Tallinn, Vilnius and soon Heringsdorf, airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, CIS and the Middle East.
