Air Transat to end flights to Germany

Air Transat will terminate its services from Canada to Germany. The four weekly flights from Calgary and from Vancouver are no longer part of the summer schedule 2015 the airline told.

„The german market becomes difficult in the recent years. That’s why we will focus on other european markets“

Air Canada, Lufthansa -booth part of Star Alliance – and Condor, part of the Thomas Cook Group, expanded their network between the two countries. Last year Air Transat terminated their flights from Toronto to Frankfurt.

Air Transat started flying to Frankfurt in 1991. For several years the canadian leisure airlines also offers flight to and from Munich, Berlin and Hamburg
