Turkish Airlines opens new destination in Ukraine

Turkish Airlines expands its flight map and opens a new destination in Ukraine. Turkish Airlines’s aircraft began to operate regular flights on the route Istanbul – Kherson – Istanbul with frequency 4 times per week. Kherson and other regions of the South Ukraine, the new routes of Turkish Airlines is suitable cities for residents.

The official opening ceremony of scheduled flights of Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Kherson took place at “Kherson” airport. The press-conference was held with the participation of Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Mr. Andriy Putilov, H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Mr. Yonet Can Tezel, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of Turkish Airlines, Mr. Ziya Taşkent. Also, present were the general managers of Turkish Airlines in Kherson, Kiev, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Lvov, director of the airport “Kherson”, representatives of business from Kherson, Odessa and Nikolaev.

Chief Marketing and Sales of Turkish Airlines, Mr. Ziya Taşkent: “Ukraine is currently one of the priority markets for Turkish Airlines. Kherson and other southern regions of Ukraine have great potential and the flights to contribute to unleashing that potential. We introduced our flights to İstanbul to Kherson at special discounted fares, which makes our high standards of service even more affordable for all customers in Ukraine.”

Passengers of Turkish Airlines, traveling on route Istanbul – Kherson – Istanbul, can enjoy high standards of service, comfortable seats in economy and business classes and the invariably excellent catering on board, which have received prestigious awards from Skytrax for several years in a row and recognition of passengers worldwide.

Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Mr. Andriy Putilov: “Kherson” airport has great technical potential.
