Hamburg Airport has announced a new service to London-City. From October 27th Sun-Air, the danish franchise-partner of British Airways, will connects the city in Northern Germany with the financial district of London.

SUN-AIR’s CEO Niels Sundberg states, “Our strategy is to offer direct routes in close cooperation with the regional business sector, and we pursue this policy with the opening of the route London City-Hamburg. We highly value our cooperation with the business sector and are already experiencing great interest and support from both English and German business people”.

There will be 10 return flights from Monday to Friday – morning and evening, which makes it easy and comfortable for the business traveller to go back and forth on the same day. The new route will be operated with a Dornier 328 aircraft with 32 seats.

Since 1996 Sun-Air is a partner of British Airways. Since 2009 London City Airport is part of the Sun-Air network.
