Monarch Aircraft Engineering announces MRO services in Copenhagen

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd (MAEL) has been contracted to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) at Boeing’s new facility at Copenhagen International Airport to support GoldCare customers in the region.

Working as a partner of Boeing’s GoldCare programme, the aircraft maintenance provider will base a team of up to 20 skilled engineers in Copenhagen.

The base maintenance, which will be carried out in a hangar leased by Boeing, will include all levels of phased checks, service bulletins and defect rectification.

The new two-year contract complements the existing line maintenance MAEL carries at London Gatwick Airport.

MAEL’s operation at the new facility received approval from the CAA this month.
