As part of Icelandair’s 2015 summer schedule, the airline will be adding flights and frequency from June to mid-September.

Additional flights include an eighth weekly Seattle flight with wing-to-wing flights on Mondays; a third weekly Vancouver flight, on Thursdays; and a seventh Newark flight on Sundays. One of the biggest increases this year will be from Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP). Starting April 7th, Icelandair will offer four flights a week with its seasonal service extended until January 10, 2016, increased from Oct 27th. In 2016, this service will resume in mid-March, pushed forward from the original commencement date in May.

Icelandair’s European destinations will also see a boost from June to September with London Gatwick and Zurich offering 6 flights a week and Amsterdam and Paris adding to wing-to-wing service on Wednesdays and Sundays, respectively. Scandinavia will also see an additional Bergen/Stavanger flight on Fridays.

Icelandair offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Washington, D.C., Seattle, Denver, Toronto and Edmonton, with seasonal service from Newark, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando, Portland, Vancouver, Halifax, and Anchorage. Connections through Icelandair’s hub at Keflavik International Airport are available to more than 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the U.K. and Continental Europe. Only Icelandair allows passengers to take an Icelandair Stopover for up to seven nights at no additional airfare.
