Air France is demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the environment, using its Toulouse – Paris-Orly route as an innovation showcase of sustainable development called Lab’line for the future.

Until September 2015, Air France will use this route to present its projects and achievements focused on the challenges of sustainable development. Customers will be able to attend regular events in partnership with the DGAC, Safran-Snecma and Total-Amyris, but also Aéroport de Toulouse Blagnac, Airbus, BETC, Coca Cola Entreprise, EDF, HERTZ, Orange, Région Midi-Pyrénées, Thalès, Veolia and Zodiac Aerospace.

On 21 October 2014, on the occasion of the launch of the Lab’line for the future project, Air France was operating a series of flights powered by biofuels (10% added to standard kerosene) on the Toulouse – Paris-Orly route. Until September 2015, one flight per week will be powered by biofuels on this route.

The Company hopes that through this initiative, public bodies will be made aware of the need to develop an „aviation biofuels“ industry in France.
