Starting next winter, Lufthansa customers who want to escape the winter blues will have two more attractive destinations in the Canary Islands to choose from besides Gran Canaria.

The new weekly service from Munich to Fuerteventura will be launched on Saturday 25 October, before the start of the autumn holidays in Bavaria, while flights to Tenerife will be offered from Sunday 31 October. As both destinations will be served by an Airbus A321 with 200 seats in a two-class configuration, Lufthansa customers can also opt to fly Business Class to the Canaries.

In addition, Lufthansa is resuming flights to Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria, next winter. Flight departures from Munich have been conveniently timed at 8.50 hrs, ensuring ideal connections from all domestic German and most European airports.

“For the first time, Lufthansa customers will be able to reach these three large islands in the Canaries within a matter of hours. Even during the winter months, passengers will thus have a choice of 15 attractive holiday destinations,” Thomas Klühr, member of the Lufthansa German Airlines Board, Finances & Hub Munich.
