KLM outlines additional 787-9 operations

KLM has filed five additional Boeing 787-9 service to be introduced in March 2016. Currently the GDS only shows flights up to 28th February 2016. Effective October 2015 there will be more routes flown by the longer version of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner:

Starting 25th October 2015 KLM will replace a previously planned 777-200ER service on the route Amsterdam – Abu Dhabi – Bahrain with te 787-9. Effective 30 November the 787-9 will replace the 777-200ER on two of four weekly flights between Amsterdam and Cairo. Effective March 1st all services will be flown by 787-9.

Effective December 2nd the 787-9 replaces the 777-200ER on two of seven weekly flights on the route Amsterdam – Quito – Guayaquil – Amsterdam. Only one day later the 787-9 will overtake the Amsterdam – Xiamen service (2x weekly).

Last but not least eff March 2nd 2016 the 787-9 Dreamliner replaces 777-200ER service between Amsterdam and Hangzhou.

At KLM the Boeing 787-9 offers 30 seats in Business Class and 264 seats in Economy Class.
