The new Eurowings is further expanding its long-haul routes. Starting this winter, Eurowings customers will be able to fly to another attractive long-haul destination. The first flight from Cologne to Puerto Plata in the Caribbean will take off on 7 November 2015. Flights will depart from Cologne once a week, on Saturdays, and head for one of the most attractive travel destinations in the Caribbean.

The port city of Puerto Plata is situated on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. The old part of the city, dating from colonial times, serves as a charming focal point. Puerto Plata is an ideal starting point for numerous resorts with pristine beaches along the Amber Coast. The city has a wide range of cultural attractions for visitors as well.

Eurowings is also increasing its number of flights to Dubai and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Due to strong demand, the new Eurowings will fly to Punta Cana three times a week from 7 November 2015. There will now also be three flights a week to Dubai from 17 December 2015.

The expansion means that the new Eurowings will now offer a total of six long-haul destinations in the winter season.
