United announces Newcastle service in summer 2015

United Airlines has introduced a new service from it’s New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, to Newcastle (UK). The new route will be flown during summer 2015 five times weekly from May 23 to September 7, the airline told.

Flight UA160 will depart Newark daily except Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.20pm and arrive in Newcastle at 7.30am the following day. The return flight will depart Newcastle daily except Wednesday and Thursday at 9.10am, arriving at New York/Newark at noon the same day (all times local).

Flight times will be 7h 10 min eastbound and 7h 50 min westbound.

United operates with a Boeing 757-200 aircraft with a total of 169 seats (16 flat-bed seats in BusinessFirst, 45 in Economy Plus with more legroom and 108 seats in Economy).
