Lufthansa Technik AG has further extended its cooperation with Taiwan-based airline EVA Air and it’s subsidiary EGAT. According to the new contract, the Hamburg-based maintenance, repair and overhaul provider is now also being commissioned to provide component support for the Boeing 777-300ER fleet as well as the Airbus A330 aircraft the Star Alliance member EVA Air has ordered.

Material is to be supplied for more than 30 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft by Lufthansa Technik at the Singapore location. The long-term contract covers the overhaul of components as well as engineering services in addition to the material warehouse and pool. Services for the Airbus A330 fleet were extended and now also include the newly ordered A330-300s. These aircraft will also be supported out of Singapore.

EVA Air has been a customer of Lufthansa Technik for more than ten years, with support also being provided since 2014 for the A321 aircraft of the renowned Taiwan-based airline in addition to the Airbus A330 and Boeing 747 fleet. With this latest contract, EVA Air has entrusted the supply of components for the majority of its fleet to Lufthansa Technik.

Lufthansa Technik has significantly expanded the material pool in Singapore in recent years in order to be able to supply the growing number of customers in Asia in their region quickly and reliably.
