LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services Company started a “C” Check of the Boeing B767-300ERW (Extended Range-Winglet). An aircraft belongs to an Italian operator – NEOS. Although it is registered under the name I-NDOF it is better known as a “Città di Roma” (City of Rome). This is the first aircraft check with such wide range of maintenance tasks, performed in LOTAMS for different operator than the LOT Polish Airlines. The “C” check is also the first one carried out in the modernized hangar No. 2 which was modificated in August. The modification has allowed to service wide-body aircraft Boeing B767 equipped with winglets. The original TAT (turnaround time) was scheduled for 24 days but as a result of the of additional work ordered by NEOS it was extended to 31 days.

Good co-operation between LOTAMS staff and NEOS representatives that takes place during the current check, allows to assume that that collaboration between our companies will be continued also regarding to other the operator other fleets of aircraft.

NEOS is an Italian airline based in Somma Lombardo. The operator has six narrow-body Boeing B737NG aircraft and two wide-body Boeing B767-300ERW in its fleet. The NEOS company has also ordered two Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
