KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has started service to Colombia three times a week, operating a Boeing 777-200 with an ultra-modern interior, under flight number KL745. The flight will land in Bogotá and then in Cali, before returning directly to Amsterdam. The flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

KLM is not for the first time in its history in Bogotá. From October 1992 through March 1995, KLM operated flights to the Colombian capital already. With the addition of the new service to Bogotá and Cali, KLM now serves eleven destinations in Latin America and expanded its network to a total of 67 intercontinental destinations.
