A daily service to Exeter Airport from Newcastle is set to be reintroduced by Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, as its 2014-15 winter schedule gets underway on Sunday 26th October. It joins existing routes from Newcastle to George Best Belfast City and Southampton offering a choice of up to 64 flights a week.

Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, comments: “The diversity of our winter network this year is greatly expanded with the new routes we have added. Regional connectivity is Flybe’s mission and, due to public demand, we are pleased to again offer our Newcastle customers daily flights to Exeter.”

Chris Sanders, Aviation Development Director at Newcastle International Airport, said: “We’re delighted that Flybe has reintroduced the Exeter service from Newcastle. The route is important for both leisure and business passengers wishing to visit the South West as well as the city of Exeter itself.
