Falko to lease further Boeing 717 to Volotea

Falko Regional Aircraft announced that it has added a further B717-200 aircraft to its portfolio the first of a commitment to acquire a total of four B717s from SAS in the first half of 2015. The aircraft, manufactured in 2000 has been immediately placed on lease to Volotea, a highly successful low cost operator based in Southern Europe.

“We are delighted to add a further B717 to our portfolio reflecting the continuing development and growth of Falko and further expanding our assets in Europe. We are already a major player in B717s and this is the first in our portfolio of four B717s that we have committed to lease to Volotea,” said Mark Hughes, Executive Vice President – Corporate Finance, Falko Regional Aircraft Limited. “We are very pleased to have completed this transaction and look forward to adding more B717s to our portfolio in the near future.”
