Air Canada expands codeshare operations in Europe. The carrier will place its AC code on additional four routes out of Zurich operated by SWISS.

Air Europa will start new service from Madrid to Ouarzazate on 27 November 2014 with Embraer 145.

Air Transat will launch a seasonal service from St. John’s to London-Gatwick on 17 June 2015 with Boeing 737-800.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines to cease operations to Frankfurt on 27 October.

British Airways announced that Montreal will be served by the airline’s new Boeing 787 Dreamliner (More)

LOT Polish Airlines will expands codeshare partnership with regional carrier Eurolot on five additional routes out of Warsaw.

Niki, austrian subsidiary of Air Berlin, will start flying from Vienna to Abu Dhabi. Etihad will put its EY code on these flights. (More)

Oman Air to expand its operations to Germany. From January 1st the carrier will flying daily from Muscat to Frankfurt(+1) and to Munich (+3)

SAS Scandinavian Airlines don’t want to set-up a low-cost unit. Instead the carrier plans to become more competitive.

Sprint Air (Poland) took delivery of an ATR72-200-Freighter.

Wizz Air (Hungary) is in talks wit a russian investmend fund about a joint-venture in the country. In the next five years the LCC wants to double its fleet of 52 A320.

WOW Air (Iceland) anounced a new saisonal service from Reykjavik to Tenerife South beginning on 04 April 2015. The icelandic LCC plans to acquire six aircraft by 2016. At the moment there are three A320 in the fleet.
